Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
1. Design engineering
Responsible for all drawings / calculations required for job execution for big or complex project with good quality. Produce Bill Of Material.
Review and approve all drawings sub-contractor made according to project / tender, standards and requirements.
Negotiate with consultants/Client, sub contractors for technical deviation in professional way, to get approved by the consultants/Client as per the schedule.
Coordinate and lead other team member to achieve engineering work.
2. Technical Advisor
To support and provide technical advices and cost effective solutions to Project / Commercial team. Identify project/tender technical loose ends and advise project / tendering managers for potential claims or mitigation method
To provide expertise in specific issue during whole project execution
3. Power system calculation & study
Design Calculation of short circuit forces, sag, earthing, busbar sizing, CT sizing, DC battery & charge sizing etc. for finalisation of cost effective electrical layouts.
Create other calculation templates if it is not available yet for some complex project.
4. Technical support to project and tendering
Attend negotiation / clarification meetings with customers and suppliers to effectively support project managers on technical matters.

Experience:
Describe the knowledge and experience required for this role.
Power Distribution System Engineering, Preferred with experience of primary or secondary design of HV substations.
Primary Design: System calculation, analysis and study, substation layout, equipment sizing and cabling.
Secondary Design: Schematic diagram of control & protection panels of the HV substations, be familiar with protection relays, and be capable to propose the protection configuration, be familiar with the substation automation system, and capable to do the SCADA system design.
Electrical power engineering experience > 5 years.
