Purpose of the job
For our Product Information Center we are looking for a Sales Development Specialist for China region.
The Sales Development Specialist will be responsible for proactively create and drive relationships with small and medium sized accounts. This includes creating, following –up and converting leads to design wins, by actively reach out to (potential) customers.
We are seeking a self-driven, technical adaptable individual to join our team and become ambassadors of TE to increase sales in our Channel business segment.
Key responsibilities of the job
?Outbound calling to establish new, high-quality opportunities with prospective customers and contacts.
? Technically advising customers on TE products, services and capabilities to best meet the needs of the Customer and driving design wins.
? Creating, building and maintaining strong business relationships with Customers to drive Sales and Extraordinary Customer Experience
? Lead qualification and follow up of inbound leads received through various sources (including company web-site, sample system, social media channels, events and other sources).
? Developing sales opportunities and assists in developing the pipeline for future sales activity through daily interactions
? Nurturing mid to long term opportunities through regular touch points until they are ready for sales engagement
? Maintaining regular contact with engineers, sales and distributor partners
? Identifying and driving improvement projects that will raise Customer satisfaction levels
Requirements
Knowledge, Skill and Experience
?Bachelor’s Degree required (e.g. Engineering/ Business)
? Fluent English skills required; CET 6 above preferred
? Ability to understand TE products and customer applications (technical/ industry experience preferred)
? Previous Sales and/ or Outbound calling/BD experience preferred
? Strong Business Acumen, Problem Solving, Critical Thinking
? Excellent communication skills (verbal, written) with exceptional listening skills
? Demonstrated ability to take ownership of, and maintain progress on, multiple tasks
? Demonstrated adaptability to changing priorities, strategies and business conditions
Competency, Characteristics and Behaviour
? Proactive and Strong communication and coordination skills.
? Strong self-guided learning skills
? Other competencies like time arrangement and drive for result
? Strong interpersonal skills and a positive and professional attitude
