About Tax

Tax and regulatory issues are on top of the mind for many companies operating around the world today. As a tax professional, you’ll help organisations and individuals to maximise their tax efficiency and manage their tax risks. You’ll achieve this through the advice you give to your clients on conducting proper tax planning, and helping them to fully meet their tax compliance obligations. Taxation in a fast-paced business environment is exciting and intellectually stimulating. To meet the challenges, you’ll need to constantly develop your tax knowledge and research skills. As you progress, you’ll likely become specialised in certain specific areas of tax and/or industry segments.

Job responsibilities：

• Review monthly accounting entries in Kingdee system, closing and reporting;
• Prepare and review monthly PRC financial report and internal management report independently and efficiently before providing them for manager’s review;
• Draft email and advisory memo or report independently;
• Take the initiative to provide meaningful guidance and coach on associate’s daily work such as filing, documentation, working approach to resolve various specific matters;
• Support managers to approach potential new clients such as drafting proposal in Word or PPT slides and attending client meetings;
• Work with manager and associate to resolve client’s day-to-day issues; and
• Review monthly billing for manager and partner’s approval.

Requirements：

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or Taxation is preferable;
• Minimum 4 years’ working experience in accounting department of foreign invested companies or minimum 3 years’ working experience in international CPA firms;
• Familiar with accounting closing cycle and General Ledger preparation under PRC accounting principles;
• Practical experiences with domestic accounting software like Kingdee or UFIDA and rich experiences in a foreign ERP system operation like SAP or Oracle will be a plus;
• Good command of PRC statutory accounting principles, standards and procedures; familiar with IFRS or US GAAP will be a plus;
• Familiar with tax and forex regulations and relevant practical issues like tax filing, VAT procedural work, on-line banking system, forex remittance, etc.;
• Familiar with the downloading/uploading of accounting data between different accounting systems will be a plus;
• Holding a certificate of Qualified Mid-level Accountant (中级会计师) or CPA (注册会计师) or CTA (注册税务师) will be an advantage;
• Good communication skills, high client service responsibilities and problem solving skills;
• Smart, diligent, reliable, numerical sensitive and could work under pressure; and
• Fluency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin.
