Responsibilities:

• Analyse the business performance of corporate clients for the purpose of debt restructuring and restoring value for stakeholders.
• Assist in providing advice to stakeholders on restructuring and recovery strategies in distressed companies and distressed transactions.
• Assist on the insolvency appointments including attending on site to take control of the assets;
• Gather information, meet suppliers, customers, employees and other stakeholders.
• Be involved in the asset realisation, creditor management process and statutory and other reporting in formal insolvencies.
• Assist in dealing with stakeholders and other professionals.
• Manage projects independently, including overseeing the execution team in performing the fieldwork, preparation of high quality deliverables and proposals, and perform risk management procedures.

Requirements:

• Degree in accounting or business or related discipline with professional qualifications (including CPA and/or CFA) ;
• Three to five years' relevant experience in auditing, consulting or advisory work, specifically in the area of corporate restructuring or distressed transactions in China will be favourably considered;
• Excellent financial and business analytical skills;
• Ability to think strategically;
• Hands-on approach to unravelling commercial complexities; Team players, who work effectively under pressure;
• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills (both English and Mandarin);
• Excellent written English and Chinese, including the ability to write succinct, well-structured report;
• Flexibility and willingness to travel, mostly to China, is a must .
