Role Summary/Purpose
The Product Marketing Manager demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives for a product area or areas within the JV. In this role you will utilize marketing experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals. In this role you will:
Essential Responsibilities
• Understand the environment of assigned segments and/or products including market size, competitive data, price dynamic, distribution channel and promotion • Develop and implement plans for increased and new market penetration, including selecting target markets, recommending new products, establishing plans for product promotion, and recommending strategic actions to grow the JV's presence in the segments or products • Ensure the routine gathering and reporting of competitive intelligence and action, as it is required to differentiate the Joint Venture in the market place • Regularly analyze commercial terms of existing products and provide recommendations to improve • Build and maintain solid relationships with key stakeholders • Provide direction for broader marketing team activities • Capture emerging trends and facilitating/developing corresponding strategies • Translate trends into opportunities, develop competitive advantages, increase sales competitive intelligence around trends, and provide Voice of Customer (VOC) for business execution •• Lead global market and customer intelligence definition, tracking, reporting and analysis in support of commercial processes including sales, marketing and product management initiatives • Maintain market analysis using CECOR framework for key markets • Work with regional teams to execute segmentation / potentialization analysis and implement results • Maintain NPS profiles of key customers, leveraging Customer Service initiatives • Update and deliver training materials and case studies to sales force. • Provide win/loss and competitive assessments • Support identification and assessment of incremental growth ideas • Develop value pricing models to maximize product margins • Develop regional pricing insight and strategies by providing leadership around deal pipeline, identify pricing opportunities, and collaborate with projects, platforms, and marketing teams on pricing targets • Conduct targeted customer and competitor analysis
Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college • Minimum of 2 years of direct sales, marketing or related experience
Desired Characteristics
• Master's Degree in Business Administration • Avionics product marketing & sales or technical sales support experience• Experience in voice of the customer activities• Ability to formulate winning customer value propositions including recommended pricing schemes• Experienced in customer and competitive analysis• Exposure to portfolio analysis and multi-generational product planning• Customer-centric mindset, able to translate customer issues/needs into profitable business solutions• Six Sigma Black Belt certification • Able to effectively interface with and maintain relationships at all levels of internal and external customers• Strong oral and written communication skills• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
