Sales Manager for Optical Material-光学材料销售经理(B2B)-Account Manager-Business Development Manager


Job Focus:
Responsible for Sales of Advance Material products to customers in China
Main Responsibilities:
1. Works effectively with rest of Sales Team and lead the sales efforts, develop sales programs, prepare sales plans and oversee the implementation of these plans.
2. Strengthen relationships with key contacts (decision makers) in target customer companies through close communication and work hands-on to win qualification (qualification process) of the company's products.
3. Project Management in existing and new business projects from the initial inception stages through to production and operational/delivery stages, ensuring that aspects such as on-time delivery, resources & budget allocation and correct monitoring procedures are adhered to
4. Work closely with members of the business segment at local, regional and global levels ensuring active involvement in projects/commercialization initiatives - including communication with R&D, Production, Quality Assurance, Marketing groups etc.
5. Act as a key source of market intelligence to guide the development and commercialization process through market study and analysis to identify market needs, trends, competitive strategies, and product positioning.
6. Ensure customers are serviced effectively by the team
7. Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements, regulations, group as well as internal policies & procedures
8. Maintain good relationships with key customers or key suppliers (if any) and ensure active account management; Take initiative to drive major customer issues and strategic issues with the BU or BS or factory
9. Provide timely reports & feedback to BU or BS on ground conditions and make recommendations for changes where relevant
10. Takes initiative in identifying and evaluating new investment opportunities
11. Recommend and implement sales and marketing strategies to strengthen the existing business and to increase market share
12. Supports in the forecasting of future strategic and tactical work demands to meet the business needs
13. Ensure that Key Performance Indicators (such as budgeting and forecasting) are met
14. Make regular assessments of the present sales program and strategies, create action plans, and establish performance targets to meet sales and expand sales
15. Compile and analyze monthly Sales performance indicator report for management review
16. Work closely with factories or suppliers(if any) throughout to achieve the yearly sales goals
17. Guides and advices junior level sales managers or sales executives in day-to-day sales activities.


Main Requirements:
1. University degree in mechanical engineering, material or related
2. Relevant sales and marketing knowledge in B2B environment
3. Good negotiation and presentation skills
4. Computer know-how
5. Good command of written and spoken English at business level.
6. Project Management experience, including the coordination of activities/resources
