AMTEC is now building a team of equipment and process engineers to support contract electronics manufacturers located in eastern China (Shenzhen/Guanlan, Shanghai, and Zhengzhou).

Prerequisites
1. Degree in industrial, manufacturing, electrical, mechanical engineering; or chemistry, chemical engineering, or materials science.
2. Hands-on, equipment oriented.
3. The ability to take direction from more senior personnel who understand Semblant technology. You will be trained and coached.
4. A proven ability to collaborate with specialists who possess advanced knowledge, both inside and outside of Semblant, is essential.
5. Fluent in Chinese language. (Functional English is desired).
6. Microsoft office proficiency, particularly Excel.
7. Have the desire and legal right to live and work in the People’s Republic China.

Responsibilities
1. Maintain the highest level of health and safety standards at Semblant and at customer sites.
2. Working as part of the Customer Operations team, support customer adoption of Semblant technology, from initial installation to continuous improvement of the production process.
A. Work on-site with Semblant customers and partners to implement, verify, troubleshoot, and maintain plasma deposition processes on specialized equipment.
B. Solve customer implementation and production challenges related to Semblant equipment and processes.
C. Monitor Semblant PECVD process trends in production to help pre-empt issues before they arise
a) Operate test and measurement equipment such as FTIR spectrometer, reflectometer, profilometer.
b) Collect and interpret data; make recommendations.
D. Facilitate the production requirements of Semblant customers in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Ensure operators are running the process correctly.
E. Be available for night shift work.
3. Provide excellent documentation and training services to customers using Semblant technology.
