Overview
Global Logistics Business Process team is responsible of global logistics initiatives such as logistics business process standardization, system/ application development and deployment, support logistics users on tools, applications and reporting.
Strong Business Process Analyst needed to assure that global/regional processes and business tools are leveraged across all BUs and related functional areas in the region. This individual will be responsible for providing business process support for Transportation, DistributionCenter and other supply chain projects. Position will involve working closely with key business users, gathering data to support project recommendations, supporting Asia deployments and gathering / consolidating enhancement requests. Additional responsibilities include:
1) Support Regional Lead on the support of project implementation and post go-live issues
2) Site Implementation training / support
3) Understand various Business processes within different Business Units (BU) or locations in TE
4) Logistics process standardization by deploying global policy and procedure.
5) TMS enhancement deployment (both inbound and outbound) and post go-live support.
6) Data analysis and reporting
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
1) Support Regional Lead in standardizing logistics/supply chain processes (Leverages and promotes global processes and best practices.) – before and after go-live of project.
2) Support the global/ regional logistics council meetings
3) Assures global/regional processes and business tools are leveraged across BUs in the region. Position will include multiple time zone interfaces (evening calls)
4) Addresses tactical issues where needed or directed.
Position Qualifications/Competencies - Required
1) Strong communication, presentation and organizational skills. Ability to provide effective written communications and project management documentation.
2) Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross functionally and to influence without direct authority
3) Prior experience in working with warehouse / logistics processes a plus
4) Minimum 2 years of business process, systems analysis, and project management experience required.
5) Strong problem solving capabilities. Results oriented. Relies on fact-based logic for decision-making.
6) Ability to work with multiple projects and work streams at one time. Must be able to deliver results based upon project deadlines.
7) Experience working in a global organization a plus. Must be able to travel worldwide and will flex daily work schedule to allow for time-zone differences for global team communications. Travel (10-20%) within Asia.
Preferred:
1) Understanding of SAP delivery processing (outbound & inbound).
2) Prior experience in implementing transportation / logistics software.
3) Forwarder/carrier integration experience
Required Education Level:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Logistics OR equivalent experience and knowledge required.
