Overview
Manage and grow assigned key account(s) and mentoring SE/Account Manager with the objective of achieving sales targets within China sales policies, procedures and systems.
Responsibilities:
-Planning and Budgeting
Develop and propose annual budget and plan for the assigned accounts and monitor self performance in order to achieve revenue growth targets.
-Marketing Activities
Collect information on competitors; look for opportunities to develop new products and new market/application areas (from existing products) for customers; and visit customer sites to verify new market opportunities in order to develop and sell products that better meet customer demands.
Sales Activities
Develop sales plan for the account; determine targets for penetration and growth of accounts; negotiate pricing, terms and conditions for contracts of assigned accounts; coordinate with customer service supporting the assigned accounts; implement channeling strategy and manage distributors performance; handle overdue customer payment issues; visit clients site to solve sales issues (delivery,quality,complain,etc.); and coordinate with global sales team to facilitate project transfers in order to achieve targeted sales growth for the assigned account(s).
-Client Relationship Development & Maintenance
Maintain and delight relationships with assigned account(s) across all functions; and with key management of the account(s) in order to grow sales revenue from the account(s).
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree or above with 5+ years’ working experience in account manager, preferably in telecommunication or battery industries;
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross functionally and to influence without direct authority
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and computer skills (i.e. Power Point, Excel, Word)
- Good command of both written and oral English;
- Strong results-orientation and execution characteristics; self-motivated
- Strong project management and negotiation skills
- Ability and willingness to travel as required
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
