Responsibility:

Product development:
1. Technology/Skill: Freely use Catia software to do cable 3D layout, can also use ProE software to do 3D design & 2D layout, can help customer to optimize cable design. Understand cable manufacuture process, know about tolerance calculation; Know about automotive product test specification and test method.
2. New product development: Conceives original ideas and proposal for new products. Provides a wide range of solutions that meet the specifications given by customers. Evaluation of identifiable factors in order to satisfy customers' demands in a technically sound and economical way. Customer spec and proposal design feasibility study.
3. Product design document:Initial BOM, Product review, Drawing spec, VOC and Significant Characteristic, DFMEA.Design objective, Test Report

Technical support:
1.Customer engineering service, can help customer select suitable parts for correct application. Analysis customer complaint and manufacture issue.
2.Periodically reviews the quality of products or processes, and provides technical guidelines which require a review of a variety of factors.
3.Establishes standards of procedure, in order to avoid deviation in the manufacturing or implementation of the product.
4.Product Improvement: Improve and sustain existing products, quality improve and manufacture engineering support. Applies knowledge in order to determine needs and opportunities to improve existing products.

Product qualification:
Determines the evaluation or test needed and confirms the accuracy of the report contents in order to ensure that the product meets the quality specification. May provide alternatives to the quality standards that are more imaginative, practicable and consistent with the company's objectives. Analyzes the causes of failure and identifies routine solutions.
Understand Automotive standard spec

Product specification:
Determines specifications for technical data. Performs engineering calculations to analyze and describe the product in order to establish a standard characteristic of the product.


Requirements:

- B.S. of Engineering with 4 or more years of experience or Masters of Science with 2 or years of experience; At least 2 years vehicle cable design experience, Familiar with cable assembly, molding & stamping, English Good.
- Has a complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories, concepts, and techniques for cable assembly.
- Has a general knowledge of other related disciplines. Work is predominantly intellectual in nature.
- Has a knowledge of CATIA and ProE software skills. Focuses on the development of the cable industry. Interacts effectively with customers at a peer level.
- Builds strong internal/external working relationship. Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.
- Aware of cultural differences that may exist in business and technical practices and applies them effectively in global interactions.
- Willingness to travel, especially customer on site support.
