AMD Beijing Technology Development Center (BTDC) is looking for new blood to join a well-established and fast growing team to support AMD embedded business growth with its leading innovations based on x86 and ARM architectures

Responsibilities
1. Develop firmware for AMD new embedded platforms covering both x86 and ARM based SoC
2. Improve/enhance existing platform performances through firmware level optimizations
3. Participate in new silicon/platform brining-up/validations in a global team environment
4. Develop innovative firmware architectures to cover both x86 and ARM based platforms
5. Support strategic customers for faster adoptions of AMD latest technologies/innovations

Requirements
1. Education & Qualifications
a. Bachelor degree or above in Computer Science or related majors with at least 6 years of working experiences preferred
2. Essential Skills & Experience
a. Experience of software development, including platform bring-up, and low-level debugging.
b. Strong C language skills, preferably with experience of X86 or ARM assembly language
c. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
d. Deep understanding of BIOS development Tools
e. Ability to play in a team-work culture
f. Being proactive and self-motivated
g. Willingness to be flexible and take new challenges
3. Desirable Skills & Experience
a. Development experience with a resident firmware implementation: e.g. UBOOT, UEFI.
b. Experience of Tianocore codebase, and of EDK or EDK2 development.
