Primary and Major Responsibilities:
- Must have working technical knowledge and experience of JEDEC qualification standard
o Must be able to explain reason for each qualification stress, both internally and with customers
o Must know semiconductor failure mechanisms and which qual tests to use in attempt to generate the failure
o Qualification experience in analog, power, and memory areas required
o Qualification experience with DC/DC, AC/DC, PMU, and micro-controllers a plus
o Knowledge and experience in Q-100 automotive/hi-reliability qualifications standards is a plus
- Experience with HW design of qualification PCBs
o Hands-on design using Altium (or similar) PCB design SW is a plus
- Experience with customer communication to explain qualification tests and understand qualification issues
o Must have good empathy with customer’s concerns/needs
o Must be able to develop trusting relationship with customers
o Must have previous experience to successfully explain qualification failures to customers
- Ability to work with senior/leadership management and other job functions
o Ability to work within company goals and maintain high quality standards
o Ability to work across organizations/influence people that are not in direct reporting line
o Excellent teamwork skills
- Define, manage and champion Reliability related activities during qualifications (includes: Process, Product and Package qualifications).
- Perform product in-house reliability and Subcon assembly and reliability monitoring.
- Creates and maintain Reliability reports and database.
- Manage Failure Analysis (FA) process.
- Coordinate, answer and manage Customer/Sales inquiries regarding Reliability.
- Assist and support for Customer complaint.
- Coordinate with the 3rd party laboratories the schedules and payments. Contact window between Active-Semi and the 3rd party laboratories.
- Performs any task that will be given by the Reliability Manager, QA Section Head/ Manager that is QA & Reliability work related in Active-Semi.


Qualifications& Pre-requisites:

- Good mentoring/teaching skills required
- Excellent communication skills required
- Bachelors Degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering or related courses is required.
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in Reliability engineering in a Semiconductor industry.
- Experienced in managing qualifications is an edge.
- Basic electrical knowledge of Semiconductors, automatic test equipment, environmental chambers, reliability testing equipment, bench test equipment (like oscilloscope, curve tracer, meters) is required.
- Good oral and written communication skills are required.
Note: Knowledge on the use of the English language is required.
- Good planning skill of work activities is required.
