About Tax

Tax and regulatory issues are on top of the mind for many companies operating around the world today. As a tax professional, you’ll help organisations and individuals to maximise their tax efficiency and manage their tax risks. You’ll achieve this through the advice you give to your clients on conducting proper tax planning, and helping them to fully meet their tax compliance obligations.

Taxation in a fast-paced business environment is exciting and intellectually stimulating. To meet the challenges, you’ll need to constantly develop your tax knowledge and research skills. As you progress, you’ll likely become specialised in certain specific areas of tax and/or industry segments.

Job Description:

• The A&P senior consultant, who works on trans-boundary tasks with innovative and resourceful capability, is passionate about delivering accounting and payroll outsourcing service and creating high-quality accounting and human resource related software;
• Provide accounting/payroll services to client, including payroll set up, payroll calculation, individual income tax compliance and payroll process review; accounting system setup, bookkeeping services, treasury service, other compliance service and advisory services;
• Develop highly scalable web applications and services, such as SaaS (Software as a Service) products that create value for our clients with building web and mobile technologies skills;
• Working on a start-up-like team, contributing to the vision and execution of cutting-edge products that solves problems and provides important benefits for our clients; and
• Display leadership qualities for other team members, including sharing knowledge, experiences and skills with others. Provide design reviews, coaching, and give feedback.

Requirements:

• BS/Masters in Accounting or Computer Science related field;
• 5+ years of software development experience with solid foundation in software engineering and strong competencies in data structure, algorithms and software design. Rich experience with accounting or human resource software development is a plus;
• Proven experience in software best practices, like test-driven development and continuous integration with strong analytical skills and object-orientated design capabilities. Applies full understanding of the software engineering discipline and industry best practices. Experience designing applications to run on cloud environments is a plus;
• Flexibility and open-mindedness, and ability to think creatively and a thirst for knowledge, confident with a strong business sense, are able to interact with technical and professional team at all levels. Excellent communication skills with a strong command of English; and
• Teamwork and high sense of integrity with problem solving potential and decision making skills.
