Application Specific:
1 Main technical contact person to the customer, including clarification of technical issues with the customer.
2 Discussion of design, simulation or testing issues with customer (with Munich support).
3 Delivering and collecting technical information from / to the customer.
4 Checking and translating presentations, present to customer.
5 Technical checking of RFQ and SOR documents, reporting results to results to PM.
6 Ensure technical documentation of the project.
Testing Specific:
1 First steps are supporting the Munich test team in planning, preparation andprocessing dynamic and acustic measurements on chain drives in combustion engines at the customers site.
2 Learning the chain drive dynamics and specific knowledge necessary to measure together with an engineer from Munich within 6 - 9 months.


Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
1 At least 3 years experience in test or application in the automotive industry
2 Knowledge of engines and timing drives or related mechanical parts of vehicle
3 Knowledge of automotive customers standards and requirements
4 Additional experience with 3D design system Pro Engineer are helpful
5 Additional experiences in other systems like Catia V5 or UG NX5 or NX6 are helpful
6 Basic knowledge of at least three of the following manufacturing technologies: die casting, injection moulding, fine blanking, sintering, machining, heat treatment...
7 Basic knowledge of design requirements for products made of steel, aluminium and plastic materials (especially PA)
8 Basic APQP knowledge, design and process FMEA
9 Foreign languages at least fluent English
10 Well structured, organized, efficient and accurate working method
11 Strong oral and written communication skills for reports and customer interaction
