AMD as leading APU, CPU and GPU technology Company, released next generation Heterogeneous Computing System Architecture (HSA) in industry. AMD Software Solutions Team is global AMD software enablement team to ensure AMD technology is widely used by AMD partners, Customer, University, Academic Institute etc ecosystem. The industry includes Machine Learning, Image process, Video Codec, HPC, Browser etc. To drive HSA technology better service industry developers, with Great China business growth, we are seeking great talent to join to fulfill the following position:

Solution Architect and Principal Engineer
Location: Beijing

Role/Responsibilities:
? This is strong technical driven position, core member to drive AMD technology enablement with applications.
? 50% time leading development engineers to deliver the project, 50% time leading technical interface to partners.
? Work closely with Alliance teams and ISV application engineer drive adoption of AMD platforms and business expansion
? Provide technical consultancy to strategic and partner development engagements
? Enable SDK samples on new AMD platforms and tool flows
? Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, QA, and software engineering and provide inputs for prioritization of features and fixes in software releases
? Evangelize AMD Heterogeneous Computing by creating conference presentations, seminars, papers, patents, samples, speech and other collateral


Requirements:
? Graduate engineering degree in EE or CS with minimum 8+ years of experience, PhD is strong plus
? Domain knowledge in one or more in Heterogeneous Computing, Machine Learning, Graphics process, Multi-media process is must
? Coding experience in using C / C++ in Windows and/or Linux environment is a must.
? Experience in parallel computing program, experience in one of the following such as OpenCL, CUDA, C++AMP, OpenACC etc is a must
? Experience as goal-driven SW engineer and/or researcher in at least one performance-sensitive application space, such as media processing, high-performance compute, security, etc.
? Experience in customer facing roles, strong presentation, technical communication skill and tech paper writing is must.
? Ability to work across and overlap with multi-disciplinary internal groups is a must
? Excellent communication and evangelizing skills with an entrepreneurial spirit to drive results.
