Responsibility
1. Communicate with the customer for business requirement, query resolution, status reporting etc.
2. Study / analyze the Business requirements.
3. Design screens, copybooks and Application program and prepare high level, low level design document.
4. Conduct review of code and artifacts to ensure that the delivered products meet the specifications and for Quality Assurance.
5. Track project status and share reports with all stakeholders.
6. Develop code on Mainframe as per the specifications and agreed design.
7. Prepare Test case document and test data required for unit level testing.
8. Perform unit level testing of new modules.
9. Conduct reviews of code and artifacts that will be generated during the various Software Development Life Cycle phases.

Requirement
1. 5-7 years’ experience in Mainframe.
2. Extensive knowledge in COBOL/CICS/DB2/JCL/VSAM technologies.
3. Should be from Insurance background (at least 3 – 4 years).
4. Should be able to communicate in English (Japanese would be a plus).
5. Willing to work in Suzhou and travel to Japan for initial project startup.
6. Salary – as per market standards, decent increment over current package.
