职位描述
Purpose:
Manage, supervise and provide leadership for all aspects of the ***** Branch activities, driving implementation of commercial and operational strategies across Supply Chain Management (SCM), Ocean (OCE) and Air products and clients.
As an independent organization optimize and develop the ***** Suzhou branch, including all aspects of sales, operation, customer service, process & productivity, finance and human resources.
Ensure organizational scalability to enable continued fast growth in ***** and be the voice of ***** in the local market.
Principal Accountabilities
Management
- Reinforce APMM culture, values and reputation, and ensure compliance with APMM Group policies
- Provide clear direction and lead all ***** activities in the Branch through the establishment and execution of a solid Branch-level development Plan
- Provide input to and challenge the ***** regional strategy, objectives and all their key elements, growing and maintaining a strong team spirit in the management team
- Based on a continuous improvement principle ensure a constant development of sales and operational processes
Human Resources
- Build a strong management team by recruiting and retaining ***** management talent according to business requirement
- Manage structure and staff the branch according to business needs and objectives, including meeting organization constellation targets
- Organize, coach, challenge, develop and remunerate all direct reports
- Ensure development plans are in place for all direct reports and key people in the branch
- Ensure high performers and top talents are sufficiently recognized and rewarded - psychologically and financially.

Sales
- Ensure Sales targets are met through a robust sales plan, SMART targets and optimization of sales resources
- Support ***** global and regional sales strategy and provide improvement proposals to same on a running basis
- Lead and develop a resourceful and strong sales team able to deliver on targets with devilment potential.
- Provide regular updates on market conditions and provide anticipated developments for same in order to promote proactive market approach.
Operation
- Ensure the product-level delivery platform meets both customers and Product Managers’ expectations
- Manage ***** SCM/OCE/AIR capacity within the framework provided by the respective ***** Ocean and Air Product Managers
- Proactively drive variable unit costs down in collaboration with the ***** Supplier Management teams in Shanghai to achieve best-in-market variable unit cost
- Deliver targeted variable unit cost reductions, and monitor branch level organization costs
- Ensure health, safety, security and environment standards meet regulatory requirements and client needs
Customer Service
- Ensure customer intimacy by having superior customer service in the Suzhou market;
- Proactively interact with all clients, vendors and destinations
- Manage statements, billing, freight collections, uniform invoicing and other service delivery for ***** clients, ensuring that service meets relevant KPI metrics
- Ensure proper risk management plans are in place and executed when circumstances dictate
Process & Productivity
- Process
Build a lean customer focused continuous improvement mind-set, drive process improvements through process review and optimization to achieve and leverage fixed unit cost reduction
- Productivity
Achieve best-in-class branch productivity by driving constant process optimization
- Automation
Make recommendation to the cluster team for branch level automation, where feasible and economical
Finance
- Constantly optimize Branch profitability and deliver financial objectives including increased sales and reduction of variable and fixed costs
- Monitor performance against targets; ensure full year estimates for the Branch are updated regularly, and developments of significance are reported
- Support Product management and Sales Management on Branch specific profitability issues
- Manage account receivables for the Branch and ensure adherence to corporate/global credit policies, always strive to minimize credit days and DSO.
- Establish relevant and sufficient procedures between the Finance and Execution organizations to enable effective cost and income control.
