Requirement:
·BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or related area. M.S. degree strongly desired.
·Minimum 7 years related work experience developing high volume, low cost, RF Products.
·Advanced knowledge of communication systems, RF circuit design, RF measurement techniques, and instrumentation.
·Hands-on design, prototyping, testing, and bench skills.
·Problem solving skills.
·Leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
·Basic project management skills (developing schedules, risk assessment, etc.)
·Computer skills.
·RF Simulation skills.
·Verbal and written communication skills.
·Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibility:
·Responsible for the development of transmitters, receivers, and/or accessories.
·Develop, evaluate, and test various RF circuit building blocks such as RF amplifiers, mixers, impedance matching networks, voltage-controlled and crystal oscillators, PLLs, discrete filters, antennas, etc.
·Perform system / sub-system level tests on wireless microphones, personal monitors, and accessories.
·Juggle product quality, cost, time-to-market, manufacturability, and test constraints.
·Responsible for developing accurate project schedules and timing estimates of tasks for self and/or for less experienced engineers.
·Organize, document, and communicate results.
·Participate on and/or support Advanced Development and Blue Ribbon teams as team member, core-team member, system architect, or technical consultant.
·May research and/or develop new high-tech emerging technologies.
·Support new and existing products in the manufacturing plant; i.e. Maintenance of Line (MOL) support.
·Participate in non-team departmental projects.
·Generate Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and Special Engineering Notices (SENs).
·Provide technical assistance to other departments: Applications, Marketing, Automated Test Engineering (ATE), Quality, Design, etc.
·Support customer / end-users when necessary.
·Teach less experienced engineers about practical RF Circuit/system design and evaluation.
·May mentor, coach, and monitor the work of less experienced engineers.
·May manage and assign work to less experienced engineers.
·Other duties as assigned.
