Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor or above degree in Mechanical Engineering
2. 5 years experience in mechanical plastic product design
3. Experience in automotive or consumer mechanical product design will be a plus
4. Excellent knowledge of plastic, sheet metal and casting
5. Strong design analytical skills
6. Knowledge of rapid prototyping and plastic and sheet metal tooling will be an advantage
7. Good knowledge of CAD/CAM/CAE design tools, virtual prototyping and simulation is an added advantage
8. With task/project planning and participate in new product development with others as a team
9. Comprehensive technical English reading/writing and verbal communication skills are required
10. Good understanding of audio, telecommunication, and consumer electronics products will be an added

advantage

Job Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop new mechatronic products for automotive such as Audio and HVAC panels and complex switches system
2. Design products using CAD (mostly CATIA V5)/CAE tools and to perform design analysis and evaluation
3. Develop product according to reusability (building blocks), design to cost and design to manufacturing strategies
4. Design plastic, sheet metal and casting components
5. Produce relevant documentation including drawings, requirements management, technical design documents, customer related activities follow up documents...
6. Verify and validate design integrity on bench and in vehicle
7. Follow engineering design process and product release procedures
8. Provide technical support to manufacturing during pilot run and production start-up
9. Actively participate to the DFMEA to ensure the quality of he designed part
10. Communicate relevant information within the team and supplier, contractors
11. Participate to continuous improvement by applying but also creating or improving design guide
12. Participate to international product development teams (France, Germany, USA)

电子与安全产品工厂--E＆S：
德尔福电子（苏州）公司作为在苏州工业园区投资较早的企业之一，于1995年12月进驻苏州工业园区，2003年9月，德尔福公司追加投资9000万美元，在苏州工业园区长阳街123号置地121, 294平方米，制造、加工、装配汽车音响系统、电子控制制动系统、安全气囊等汽车电子产品。

注塑工厂--Plastic：
德尔福电子（苏州）公司的塑料业务新工厂于2008年4月份正式投产,占地面积4000平方米。工厂业务是注塑成型加工，喷涂加工，移印加工和镭雕加工等不同工艺制程，主要为汽车电子产品提供所需的塑料件如面板，盖板等。

德尔福电子（苏州）设计中心:
德尔福电子（苏州）设计中心2011年9月份正式成立，是德尔福（中国）科技研发中心的分支研发设计中心，主要业务是为各大汽车厂商(如GM和PSA)设计开发汽车的电器开关、音响系统控制面板系统、空调控制面板系统和中控集成控制面板系统。
