Accounting Manager

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide administrative support to relevant management group and to run an effective SMI Shanghai office.

SKILLS/EDUCATION:

College degree or above in related major.

Minimal 1 year relevant experience in a multinational company.

Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and preferably Lotus Notes Email system.

Excellent in English & Chinese Mandarin, both oral and writing

Hands-on person that has very accurate administrative skills.

COMPETENCIES:

Has the ability to handle multiple priorities and will take initiative.

Able to work independently and a team player.

Good communication & organizational skills.

Ability to learn quickly.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare, file, scan and retrieve key documents, such as contracts/invoices/project documentation.

Support organization of company projects by collecting and/or tracking information, KPI’s, etc. and create standard reports, if applicable.

Organize regular weekly, quarterly and annual (cross) functional meetings and take and file minutes if applicable.

Coordinate the representative office registration renewals and other government related duties.

Run an efficient SMI office including use of office equipment and office supplies, reception tasks and introducing MTI standard ways of working.

Represent the office to customers, corporate staff, regional employees and visitors.

Coordinate travel arrangements for staff and foreign visitors.

Participate in projects as administrative support where required.
