Job Description: Account Manager
Cartolux Suzhou, China, part of the Top Clean Packaging Group, seeks an Account Manager to help meet the growing demand for his customized solutions offered to the medical device industry.
Top Clean Packaging is an international family group, which is specialized in the ultra-clean plastics industry. This group gathers 5 companies, which provide complementary solutions for various medical specialties: thermoforming medical packaging, thermoplastics injection molding, liquid silicone rubber (LSR) injection molding all in dedicated cleanrooms and recycling activities of plastic production waste.
Top Clean Packaging is established in France, the Netherlands, India and China. This group offers to its customers the benefit of a global support, provided by a single supplier, including project design, implementation and follow-up, even though several companies of the group may take part.
Top Clean Packaging has a subsidiary in China for the Asian market named Cartolux Suzhou; this site develops and produces high technical thermoformed products, in or out dedicated class 7 cleanrooms and this for the medical, pharmaceutical and electronics markets. Cartolux Suzhou is an ISO 9001 certified company.
As an Account Manager, you'll assume responsibility for a number of accounts, and develop new business opportunities.
If you are a driven sales professional who seeks to work with a dynamic growing company active in the medical device industry and has three to five years experience identifying and closing new business with a proven track record of successful sales, please submit your resume and cover letter.
The work varies, but usually involves:
Managing a portfolio of accounts
Dealing with all aspects of a project
Using an existing network of industry contacts to generate new business opportunities
Leading the project through the organization
Building a 'territory'
Achieving sales targets
Delivering sales presentations to high-level executives
Attending client meetings
Maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients
Completing administrative work, as required
You will be office-based (Suzhou) but will also travel to meet clients.(50% rate minimum)
Skills and Interests
Good spoken and written communication skills in Chinese
Understanding of the English language
Strong presentation and negotiation skills
Confidence, tact and a persuasive manner
Good organizational and time management skills
Good 'people skills', for working with a range of colleagues and clients
The ability to motivate
A willingness to work long hours, often under pressure
A professional manner
Good business sense and the ability to work to budgets.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for all client communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on client deliverables and revenue
Ensures that client issues are dealt with in an efficient manner, informing the Sales Manager of any problems that may arise
Owns the contract and contract renewals for new work for an existing client
Approves Change Orders and invoices, and is responsible for payment collections
Works closely with the project team in order to maintain a continuous knowledge of project status in order to identify potential issues and/or opportunities within or related to the project
Ensures that all processes and procedures are completed, quality standards are met, and that projects are profitable and in line with corporate targets
Aware and in pursuit of opportunities for account growth and new business, involving the Asia Pacific Sales Manager
Communicates the client's goals and represent the client's interests to the team
Provides regular two-way communication between the client and team, to provide strong team representation and set proper client expectations
Understanding of company capabilities and service, and effectively communicates all offerings to the client
Reports to the Asia Pacific Sales Manager, providing regular input on all account activity, including status and call reports on a weekly basis
Requirements:
Proven Account Management skills required in order to create, maintain and enhance customer relationships
Minimum 3 years of Account/project management experience
Extremely detail oriented
Technical competence
Experience in plastics or in medical industry is a plus
Motivated, goal oriented, persistent and a skilled negotiator
High level of initiative and work well in a team environment
Excellent written and oral communication skills (Chinese and English)
Handles stressful situations and deadline pressures well
Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction
Undergraduate degree
