1.Bachelors Degree in engineering (Or equivalent)
2.A minimum of 5 years (8+ preferred) in project engineering
3.­A sound practical knowledge of engineering in additional to academic theory.
4.­Proven success in operational excellence
5.­Proven experience in multinational/multicultural environments
6.­Fluent in both written and verbal communication in English and the local language
7.Proactive, energetic and results oriented
8.Ability to understand complex operations activities
9.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
10.Understanding of project costing and control

11.Proven communication skills, excellent conflict management
12.Experienced in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, plus Autocad
13.Ability to work in office or in shop floor environment
14.Ability and availability to travel to other Asian plants


职位描述：

1.Ensure safe work practices on all project activities
2.Ensure his/her function operates in line with local regulations, adheres to Ferro cardinal rules of safety, and all EHS procedures.
­3.Works on the development of project plans in accordance with budgets, business plans and AR requirements, including safety, process design, capacity determination, product quality, equipment selection, cost estimating implementation plans and AR preparation
4.Works as part of a team on the effective implementation of capital projects in accordance with approved Appropriation Requests
5.Assists in the development and specification of the project scope, based on approved AR requirements
6.Develop clear plans for approved projects taking into account factors such as safety, capacity, product quality, ease of operation, efficiency, operating cost and equipment installed cost
­7.Liaises regularly with plant personnel to review the above process plans and seeks input from Production, Technical, Sales and Maintenance personnel etc as required
­8.Manages and controls project resource inputs in accordance with AR requirements, eg project scope, project size, implementation timetable and skills requirements
9.Develops expenditure approval steps for the procurement of equipment, personnel, goods and services as part of approved projects
10.Develops detailed project budgets and cost recording reports as key expenditure controls
11.Provides guidance, direction and if required supervision of other project personnel and resources
12.Ensures all government permits and authorizations required for the project are obtained
­13.Selects contractors for the design of process equipment, manufacture of plant or structures and the installation and commissioning of project items
14.Supervises and monitors all installation and construction work with regard to safety, design conformance, quality, timeliness and good engineering practice
­15.Reports on all aspects of projects as required
­16.Provides support and guidance to plant personnel in training for operation of new equipment
­17.Plays a leading role in the commissioning of new projects
18.Develops and maintains an active list of equipment and service suppliers
