职位描述
BASIC FUNCTION
To plan and maintain appropriate levels of materials necessary to support and execute Pilot Factory buildd requriements. This includes basic scheduling and planning, as well as inventory management. Can work independently.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
1.Maintain appropriate levels of raw materials and components necessary to execute the Production Schedules and Design Engineering builds when requested.
2.Plan and execute material releases to supplier through the Repetitive Purchasing System in an accurate and timely fashion.
3.Maintain specific commodity detail such as purchase lot size, lead time, minimum order quantities and any other information needed that would affect the data integrity of the part number and the Repetitive Purchasing System.
4.Expedite supplier to support the production schedule when required.
5.Notify Accounting with the appropriate documentation of any premium freight occurrences, inbound and outbound.
6.Coordinate material purchases with engineering changes to minimize exposure to obsolete inventory.
7.Advise warehouse supervision of any inbound expedited freight movements.
8.Initiate Material Deviation which may be required to execute the production schedule.
9.Conduct Basic scheduling for Pilot Factory builds.
10.Manage Pilot Factor raw material inventory.
11.Coordinate all factors that impact readiness for Pilot Factory builds, including BOM readiness and change control issues. Basic project management skills are a plus.
OTHER DUTIES
Completes other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor degree or equivalent in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related.
Experience:
1.At least 3-5 years experiences of procurement or sourcing experience in the electronics manufacturing industry.
2.Working knowledge required includes manufacturing operations, purchasing procedures and policies, materials planning (MRP) and strong analytical skills. Experience in SAP is preferred.
3.Basic knowledge of costing is required.
4.Excellent communications skills required. Good interpersonal, problem solving and decision making skills are also required.
5.Able to work independently.
6.Basic Project Management experience
7.Good English in both oral and written.
Certifications: A certificate of APICS or an equivalent is a plus.
