Requirement:

- Bachelor's Degree or above in Mechanical Engineering

- 3~5 years working experience with mechanical engineering, design , at least 2 years with platic parts design

- Familiar with project management terms and concepts, demonstrate ability to work multiple concurrent projects

- Knowledgeable in statistical tolerance analysis.

- Familiar with PPAP~s, DVP&R's, DFMEA's, PFMEA's

- Experience in lean manufacturing environment preferred

- Hands-on prototyping and testing abilities beneficial

- Ability to communicate ideas and information clearly, effectively and frequently

- Good written and verbal English communication skill and presentation skill

- Keep work priority when multi-projects are handled.

Responsibility:

- Design parts and sub systems with solid works

- Use effective best practice design methods and appropriate material choices work to customer design rules/guidelines as applicable

- Work with Lean Team to participate in Kaizen events and develop processes an procedures to increase efficiency and eliminate waste.

- Liaise with the suppliers on the manufacturing processes such as plastic molding, machining and stamping Use effective best practice design methods and appropriate material choices work to customer design rules/guidelines as applicable

- Develop manufacturing drawings considering manufacturing requirements and functional targets

- Establish and coordinate test specifications for new products

- Fabricate prototypes with assistance from technical support team (Machine Shop, Technicians and Designers) and suppliers

- Document design changes by constructing solid models and drawings with Solidworks using GD&T and stack-up analyses

- Contribute to test methods and conduct characterization and engineering pre-verification testing

- Work with internal and external manufacturing partners to ensure producible designs (DFM)
