Reporting to: Director, Professional Services
Main activities / tasks: Audit Assignments
1. Develops audit plan based on the company' risk profile for the review and approval of the Audit Committee.
2. Develops detailed audit procedures for the execution of audit assignments as per the approved audit plan.
3. Obtains understanding of the processes under review.
4. Identifies inherent process risks and related key controls in the areas of review.
5. Evaluates the adequacy and effectiveness of the identified controls.
6. Evaluates the organizational units' and functions' performance with regard to compliance with applicable policies and procedures and best practices, where applicable.
7. Identifies any opportunities for streamlining critical business processes.
8. Analyses and evaluates audit findings in order to identify any opportunities for improvement in controls and operational efficiency.
9. Documents clearly and concisely the audit work done, the audit findings and the evidence gathered.
10. Drafts audit report and develops practical and appropriate recommendations to rectify unsatisfactory conditions.
11. Obtains management comments for audit findings reported and issues final audit reports.
12. Ensures the progress of audits is line with time schedule and fee budget.
13. Assist service line leader in building sales network and meeting sales targets.
14. Attend prospect meetings and obtain understanding of prospect's expectations and needs.
15. Prepare proposals and proposed fees that meet prospects' expectations and budgets, and present proposal to prospects.
16. Monitor billing to and collection from clients.
Special requirement:
1. PC literate.

1. Exercises professional due care in the performance of his duties.
2. Maintains an independent attitude in all matters relating to the audit.
3. Observes the code of ethics spelt out by the Institute of Internal Auditors.
Knowledge and skills:
1. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
2. Fluent language proficiency in English and Mandarin is required.
3. Analytical skill.
4. Aptitude for problem solving.
5. Ability to work under tight deadline and independently.
6. Good report writing skills.
7. Prepare to travel at 40% to 50% during the year.
Education, qualification and special training:
A university degree or equivalent in accounting and auditing disciplines
Experience:
At least five to six years working experience in external and / or internal auditing of an established public accounting firm or large organization.
Personality traits:
1. Possess good interpersonal skills.
2. Diligent.
3. Alert.
4. Listener.
5. Patience.
