This position is responsible for understanding MRP system generated requirements and transacting with assigned suppliers to fulfill the requirements
Execution of planned purchase orders & action messages generated by QAD for Direct materials purchases to assure that operations have the materials needed on time and on budget.
Proactively communicate with suppliers on schedule changes based upon actual customer orders vs. forecast.
Work closely with the planner and Director of Sales and Operations Planning to help them execute urgent needed orders
Develop analysis on suppliers/ products to address changes in the market place required to assure supply or reduce inventory while maintaining service levels
Drive the regular supplier score card reviews with key suppliers and Culligan International Supplier Quality team.
Ensure suppliers adhere to the quality requirements and documentation for new items as well as changes to on-going items (First Article Inspection FAI & Product Part Approval Process PPAP)
Good communication skills in English.
Must familiar with one major ERP/MRP system, knowing QAD is a strong plus.
Bachelors degree and 5+ years of experience in related work areas
Able to work under multiple assignment, fully capable to work under urgent situations.
