Location:Shanghai/Changshu(工作地点:上海/常熟)
KEY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develops and maintains gasket design, specification, product performance per customer's requirement.
2. Supports China market for resolution of quality related concerns
3. Provides technical sealing material recommendations on new business applications.
4. Contacts customers alone and jointly with Sales Department to provide design support for customer requests.
5. Maintains contact with the global technical team members supporting sealing applications to understand options available to support the local market.
6. Provides input for products/specifications which may be added to the gasket manual.
7. Supports and adheres to policies, procedures, and operational guidelines related to established quality management system (TS 16949).
8. Maintains working knowledge of safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self and others are performed in a safe manner.
9. Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent, three to ten years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Gasket design experience is a must. Good understanding and experience of FEA/CAE is a plus.
2. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals and legal documents.
3. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
