Job Purpose & End State Activities
The Regional Marketing Manager – South Asia will be responsible for defining core marketing strategies in South Asia that is aligned with APAC Marketing plans.
You will be outcome focused and understand the challenges of achieving objectives and driving the business in a fast paced and growing environment in South Asia.
Responsibilities / Accountabilities
Design and implementation of marketing strategies to drive the business towards greater market share both locally and the region.
Plan and implement South Asia Sales and Marketing Plans in conjunction with the Asia Marketing Team to achieve sales growth
Design, agree and implement improvements in measurement of marketing initiatives and their costs.
Develop metrics to track and measure campaigns, new customer sales etc
Develop and build local web content in South Asia
Organize exhibitions and road show for South Asia
Liaise with creative agencies and printers for brochures, direct mail, merchandising and other printed materials.
Develop PR plans and campaigns liaising with the PR agency.
Improving service capabilities and developing and publicizing retention initiatives throughout the division.
Provide market research studies in support of sales and marketing decisions.
Provide feedback on product offering for future product development.
Preparation of performance reports as required by Management
Responsible for the department’s budget and headcount planning
Continuously improve the marketing capabilities within the business through recruitment and ongoing development of organisation
Staff appraisal and salary reviews exercise. Responsible for staff development and training.
Assumes additional related responsibilities as assigned

Experience / Qualifications:
Industry experience
Proven track record of developing profitable marketing programs
Extensive People Management
Knowledge of catalogue development and printing techniques
Must be comfortable working with data including target list sourcing and campaigns that drive Sales.
Strong team player and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines.
Outgoing, dynamic and results-orientated
Highly Recommended:
Degree Holder
At least 2 years’ in B to B Marketing environment
