职位描述
Major Job Responsibilities:
1. Implementing costing strategies and lead to streamline and improve costing processes
2. Lead costing negotiations with suppliers. Lead regular review on costing and service standards, identify and drive cost-down/saving initiatives and programs.
3. Be the leading role to provide costing support to other function teams during project life cycle
4. Maintain and improve as necessary Cost Estimation Tool.
5. Raw material tracking and analysis.
6. Interface with other internal function teams for major production/quality claims/issues, conduct joint assessment, provide costing support, and work collaboratively to identify resolution
7. Assist Sourcing & Costing Director to hire, train and manage performance of sourcing and costing team. Be the back-up person for team management when director is traveling or on leave.
8. Assist monitor industry and technology trends and transfers market knowledge and best practices within and across departments.
9. Support other sourcing and production planning tasks assigned by the director.
Job Requirements:
1. Total above 8 years working experience with at least 4 years in paper packaging industry.
2. Good understanding & knowledge of packaging supply market, supplier management and sourcing. In depth knowledge in packaging production and costing.
3. Proven ability to analyze problems independently, develop solutions and present solutions and rationale for final approval.
4. Proven ability to multi task and prioritize. Must possess the ability to manage workload in a fast paced environment with competing demands and shifting priorities without compromising quality of work product.
5. Strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
6. Good communication and negotiation skills.
7. Excellent written and oral communications in English and Chinese language, both verbal and written.
8. Ability to travel (frequently), mainly domestic and occasionally overseas
9. Well versed in MS Word, MS Excel, e-mail and internet. Experienced in ERP or E-Supply systems.
