职位描述
(Responsibilities):
? Work as the operations point of contact for these channels: Jira tickets, alerts, mails, SMS, instant messenger software, and phone call, etc.
? Handle and record incidents, problems, service requests reported by the channels above or people.
? Follow the SLA to escalate complex issues to the relevant departments (Operations, IT, dev, product, etc).
? Troubleshooting system and network problems.
? Perform daily administrative system and monitoring tasks.
? Perform basic security check on systems.
? Discovery unmoral status on monitoring/performance graphs, verify and solve the issues.
? Deploy new release of applications following the release process.
? Proactive work in order to minimize the risk of future incidents and complaints.
? Create documentation for support work-flows, incident reports, and performance reports.
? Provide timely and consistent updates on any tickets/request.
? Able to work on a shift to cover different time zones.
? Coordinating with internal clients and external vendors.
(Qualifications):
? 1 to 3 years relevant experience in operations support shift rotation environment
? 2+ year’ experience on popular monitoring system like Nagios, Cacti or Zabbix is required, expert level on these systems is required for the senior support engineer position.
? Experience and familiarity with LNMP/Windows/network/Websites/Scripts, MySQL and NoSQL is a plus
? Bachelor's Degree in computer science and related majors
? Ability to set priorities and handle multiple tasks efficiently to meet internal customer needs based on urgency and scope
? Service-minded and flexible
? Clear and crisp communication with internal clients and vendors
? Willingness to cross train and to learn additional technical expertise
? Very good attitude and ability to learn and pick up new concepts quickly
? Positive and proactive attitude and ability to work in a global organization with different nationalities/cultures, background and skills
? Good English written skills, oral English is a plus
