Job Descriptions:

• Focus on conducting Computer Assisted Auditing Techniques (CAAT);
• Adhere to PwC SDC policies and procedures;
• Review work performed by Senior Assistants/Assistants working in your team and ensure the delivery of services is in accordance with the SDC's User Guide instructions as applied to work requests;
• Liaise with Service Delivery Managers on a regular basis to understand workflow. Observe delivery timetable and meet client service expectation;
• Monitor time spent by teams on assigned tasks and manage deadlines;
• Maintain working knowledge of the SDC User Guides and be able to effectively coach Senior Assistants/Assistants and resolve issues arising from their work/delivery of services;
• Participate in training, coaching and other developmental opportunities for Senior Assistants/Assistants on your team and across other teams, where necessary; and
• Consistently demonstrate teamwork dynamics by leading your team effectively, proactively providing guidance, clarification and feedback to your direct team members and teams across the group, and contributing to a positive working environment by building solid relationships with superiors and subordinates alike.

Requirements:
Essential criteria

• University degree majoring in information systems, computer science, engineering or statistics or related discipline;
• At least 7- 10 years experience in accounting or analysis work with the latest 2 years being in a managerial role;
• Solid and practical experience in database management, business intelligence implementation and development of data warehouse/ETL process;
• Excellent communication skills in both oral and written English;
• Efficient analytical and problem solving skills;
• Flexible, self-starter possessing intellectual curiosity;
• Able to work independently with minimise supervision from remote team;
• Effective interpersonal and influencing skills;
• Should have strong ability in working and effectively communicating with team members at all levels including senior management;
• Ability to coach a team of subordinates in the development of their career and skills;
• Be a lateral thinker and comfortable in leading and guiding team members as necessary;
• Strong team management skills. Good at reasonable work allocation and able to treat team members fairly and respectfully.

Advantage criteria

• Knowledge and experience on Accounting related work is advantage;
• Knowledge on operating systems, databases, schema, network devices;
• Applications (e.g., Microsoft Windows, UNIX, Oracle, Microsoft SQL) are advantage;
• Hands on experience in ACL, SQL in Oracle, UltraEdit or other RDBMS are advantage; and
• Hands on experience in a number of technical platforms, including operating systems, databases, network devices, applications (e.g., Microsoft Windows, UNIX, Oracle, Microsoft SQL) are advantage.
