Key Responsibility:
1.Plan, design, and conduct research projects according to established scientific methods, principles, and theories to solve problems; and improve, or generate new tapes, components, equipments, systems, and processes;
2.Devising research methods;
3.Setting-up laboratory test equipment;
4.Building models and prototypes;
5.Calculating and analyzing test results and preparing detailed reports with recommendations and conclusions;
6.Estimate the costs, resources, and time required to conduct one or more research projects and monitor the performance of these projects to ensure targets are met;
7.Being a project leader/member to ensure good project management of all technical aspects allowing timescales to be set and progress to be monitored closely;
8.Prepare complex calculations, specifications, and other technical documentation so that prototype designs can be manufactured and assembled;
9.An understanding of how to access and use technical information that includes patents, technical papers, trade journal articles etc;
10.Organize/coordinate pilot and production trials including trouble-shooting; sample analysis and trial assessment report;
11.Other tasks assigned by superior;
12.Follow established company processes and procedures according to IMS and consider enterprise environmental factors during daily work.

Job Qualifications:

1Education Background requirements:

University (Degree) / Bachelor or above in Material Science, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, or other relevant fields.

2Working Experience requirement:
工作经历要求
Master degree in Material Science, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or bachelor degree with 2 - 3 years job experience in related industries such as coatings, adhesive, tape development or other relevant materials science background are preferred.

3Job related competency requirement:
能力要求
-Good computing competence including being familiar with standard packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
-Good knowledge of project management skills as a beneficial;
-Hands-on attitude;
-High communication and self-assertion skills;
-Result and quality orientated work process, priority setting;
-Flexible, self motivating, good work organizer, team player;
-Good statistical analysis skill.


4Language requirement:

-Good level of reading, written and listening English and reasonable English language speaking capabilities;
-A second foreign language, especially Asian language is advantage.
