职位描述
Position Title： Production Manager
Location： Suzhou
Purpose of the position:
- To lead and manage the Production Team to ensure product is manufactured to meet quality, delivery and cost expectations for Customers.
Principle accountability
- Manufacturing Strategy & Tactical Planning
To support the General Manager in the development of a Manufacturing Strategy that will address both current and future needs of the product and process in area of responsibility
In conjunction with the GM, proactively participate in the identification and assessment of manufacturing and related risks, and assist in the development of strategies to minimize them
- Leadership
To be an effective Leader, providing positive reinforcement, communication and direction to all Production Team Members.
In conjunction with the GM, establish and develop the culture of the Team to achieve focus on quality, customer service, personal development, and team using a coaching and supportive style.
- Production Quality
To maintain control of and improve quality
To proactively support the improvement process
- Delivery
To support planning in the development and maintenance of a production schedule that will maximize the opportunity to deliver in full on time to the customer
- Cost
To monitor and control costs within area of responsibility
To identify areas where improvements in costs are possible and to develop and implement plans to achieve those cost reductions.
- Materials
To ensure that materials under area of responsibility are stored, identified, handled and controlled appropriately
- Manufacturing Methods & Process
To ensure control is maintained in all manufacturing processes.
- Projects & New Product introduction
To be a proactive member of cross-functional project teams
To facilitate the smooth introduction of new products and product improvements into manufacture
？ Reporting
To prepare operating reports on production, costs, operational efficiencies etc as required by the DGM
？ Employee relations, training & recruitment
To develop positive employee relations within the team
To ensure appropriate and timely training and development of individuals and team occurs
？ Health and safety
To ensure a safe and clean working environment for all Team Members.
Active deployment of 5S
- Quality initiatives
To display enthusiasm and total commitment to quality initiatives.
Technical Knowledge
- Relevant Tertiary qualification e.g. Engineering, Technology
- Fluency in both written and spoken English
- 5 years or above of progressively responsible experience in one or more of the following areas:
Electronic or mechanical product assembly
Production or process management in any manufacturing industry
Team leadership role in a results orientated industry
Experience in applying continuous improvement principles and techniques
Scheduling and control
Resource planning and resource logistics
Mechanical and electronic aptitude
