As Purchase Coordinator, your primary task will be the further development of the recently established Supply Chain, supporting new products development, aggressive sourcing in the local market is required and already ongoing, but continues efforts must be made to eliminate current imported parts, as well as further reducing cost.

Close cooperation with the new products development team, cross function coordination within the Procurement team in Qingdao is key to meeting on time deliveries.

Basic functions within Procurement to support the above mentioned, include, but not limited to;

？ RFQ handling

？ Receiving and analysing quotations

？ Benchmarking of cost prices

？ Negotiating Supply Agreements

？ Issuing Purchase orders

？ Follow-up on existing orders,

o Progress

o Logistics

o Payments

？ Sourcing and development of new suppliers

？ Evaluation and rating of Suppliers

？ Translation of related documents

You will report to the Purchase Manager of the workshop, Travel activity is to be expected. Our expectations to your qualifications are:

？ High level of English, verbally and in writing, this is the official language of FLSmidth

？ Experience with Procurement

？ Engineering education background is preferred

？ High level of communication and negotiation skills

？ High level of loyalty and credibility

？ Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office package

？ 5 years working experience in machining industry
