About Human Capital Service Delivery Centre:
The human capital service delivery was operational in Chengdu on 3 September 2012. It provides service to PwC HR community internally and serves PwC Mainland China and HongKong initially.
This team is responsible for delivering HR transactional services, providing management reports, payroll and help desk services to HR professionals in different offices of PwC Mainland China and HongKong area with the purpose of well supporting their business objectives.
Job Description & Responsibilities:
Overall Responsibility
- Mange a data transaction & management reporting team size of 16 and supervise their performance;
- Assist Service Delivery Manager(SDM) for organizing Performance Coaching and Development(PCD) program and follow up matters;
- Communicate and liaise with related functions to resolve problem and improve service, and ensure smooth working relationship & cooperation with all related parties;
- Assure the operation delivery to the business groups as per the pre-defined service level;
- Escalate operational issues to SDM and resolve it in a timely manner;
- Managing HRIS implementation projects including stakeholder management of cross IFS teams as well as initiating, developing and implementing systems improvements;
- Act as HR IT champion, understand HR technological development needs and liaise with other IFS teams and external vendors for seamless system support;
- Provide proactive input and recommendations on HRIS solutions and relevant system support matters to Human Resource leadership;
- Reduce the manual processing performed by the SSC staff, increase the efficiency of processes and transactions and improve the ability to track tasks in progress as well as streamline and automate workflow processes for cross IFS groups;
- Develop and implement HR systems to achieve best practice in staff data and reports management;
HRIS & Payroll System Upgrade and Maintenance
- Ensure the project plan remains on track and on budget in respect of all activities within PwC CN/HK;
- Communicate with PwC CN/HK management and all stakeholders regarding requirements for the implementation;
- Ensure that issues arising throughout the implementation are resolved;
- Establish those changes in processes and procedures that need to occur within PwC CN/HK as a result of the implementation;
- Ensure the appropriate PwC CN/HK personnel attend training;
- Ensure the necessary User Acceptance Testing {UAT} takes place;
- Ensure issues raised in UAT are resolved and re-tested; and
- Sign off the implementation for go live {a management decision but one that will rely heavily on the input from the PM}.

Reporting to: Service delivery manager of Human Capital Service Delivery Centre, SDC
Requirements:
Experience:
- Experience either in a multinational environment for 3 years;
- Experienced in medium team management for 2 years;
- Experience a Shared Service HR environment will be a plus;
Qualifications:
- Tertiary education in an appropriate discipline (Management Information System, Computer Science, Human Resourcing etc);
Skills:
- A strong understanding of the use and application of HR or payroll information systems;
- Strong project management skills;
- Troubleshooting/problem solving skills;
- A strong client service ethic, with highly developed client service skills;
- A quick learner of the firm's structure, internal operations and system linkages;
- Good interpersonal, negotiation and communication (i.e. verbal, written and listening) skills;
Personal Attributes:
- Ability to work autonomously in a high pressure environment;
- Strong team focus;
- Self-motivated;
- An appreciation of the importance of attention to detail and the provision of accurate and complete outputs; and
- Willingness and ability to work with a number of different points of view and successfully influence decision outcomes when necessary.
