Responsibilities:

Responsible at subcontractor workshop level to supervise the subcontractor to meet the contractual requirements regarding quality level, time schedule and cost.

Tasks:

Plan supervision activities in detail project by project together with Subcontracting Manager and/or Subcontracting Engineer
? Degree of presence at the supplier
? Accommodation and way of traveling
? Needed support from Metso Power

- Participate in Inspection Test Plan review and NonConformityReports handling with QA- engineer
? Hold, review and witness points
? Final inspections for components in prior to shipping
? Co operation with Notified Body or ASME Inspectors during the manufacturing together with QA- engineer

- Cost management
? Support Subcontracting manager and – engineer to manage the costs related with subcontracted manufacturing in acc. with the contract and budget

- Proactive workmanship coordination
? Material coordination, i.e tube-, header-, fin bar-, attachment materials and
welding materials
? Coordination of proper manufacturing sequence
? Dimensional and straightness coordination
? Structural coordination based on drawing
? Joint design and welding coordination in acc with the drawing and welding plan
? NonDestructiveExamination coordination, processes and compliance with Inspection and Test Plans
? Quality of final documentation during the manufacturing process

- Proactive schedule compliance
? Material schedules
? Engineering schedule
? Manufacturing schedule
? Final inspections schedule
? Painting, packing and transportation schedule

- Control the boiler parts quality level to follow the purchase contract quality requirements
? Header internal surface spot checks
? Review of bending tests
? Review of ovality
? Review of macros (production weld tests)
? Review of welding parameters
? Dimensional inspection spot checks
? Make VT in order meet required quality level

- Reporting
? Provide regular reports of every project weekly



Education:
Technical degree or equal work experience

Skills:
Knowledge of the international manufacturing standards PED, ASME
Team working and leading skills
Strong understanding of welding and boiler production technology
Understanding of Non Destructive Examination methods
English language skills
Global communication skills

Experience:
3-5 years working experiences
