Job Scope:
Improve on existing designs in production, create and introduce new designs to production, handle communications across companies in china and in rest of the World where required

To be a critical member of the multi-functional engineering team in a global medical company, working in a fast moving, high demand environment.

An engineering degree is needed, but also understanding of all engineering disciplines – Mechanical, Electronics, software. With applications to consider appropriate regulations

Specific Work Detail to include:
· Active participant in providing input to the risk management process and ( when trained ) form part of the risk analysis of change(s) according to EN 14971 and local standards
· improve product design quality and manufacturability;
· Introduction of new processes and designs to production
· Project participation in local and global projects;
· Provides technical support to Production and service units;
· Understand and apply new technologies and conform to standards;
· Interact with global design and development to ensure product quality compliance and technical issues
· Improve existing devices to
o Reduce product cost;
o Increase Productivity
o Decrease service activity
· Propose and Develop solutions from limited information
· Be a product champion

Authorities:
· Component engineering sample analysis
· Creation of technical reports
· Creation of verification and validation plans
· Creation of bills of material (BOM) for production
· Active member of Design Change Control
· Product verification
· Product validation
· Complaint investigation

Qualifications:
· Fluent English (Oral and Written)
· Hold a degree in an engineering discipline (Mechanical / Electronics/ Software)
· Knowledge of medical device industry is desirable – but training will be given
· Competent in mechanical design and understanding effectof changes
· Knowledge of metal and plastic parts manufacturing processes

Essential Knowledge – Internal Training
· Process Validation (PV) Requirements.
· Risk management of medical devices (14971)
· Knowledge of the Regulatory Requirements of Medical Devices
· Have a complete, working knowledge of ArjoHuntleigh Suzhou Engineering processes.
