Total: Duties & Responsibilities:
20 ？ Ability to find and qualify new suppliers in China/Asia to facilitate localization & new product transfer/introduction

20 ？ Make inquiry and offer comparison for related materials and projects. Negotiate with supplier according to Newport purchasing policy and market situation. Work out Cost File for new project.

25 ？ Responsible for supplier performance management. Drive supplier performance as for OTD, quality improvement and cost control to meet the company targets

20 ？ Work with SQE & QA engineer to align technical/quality requirement with supplier to improve the incoming yield

10 ？ Other duties assigned by Sourcing Manager

5 ？ Correctly Maintain source list and Info record in SAP

Other Training/Technical Skills/Knowledge:
? At least 5 years working experiences in sourcing area
? Strong technical background in engineering, ability to read mechanical drawings, BOM, and workmanship standards in English
? Should be have good communication and negotiation skills.
? Project management skills
? SAP MM experience is preferred
? Manufacturing industry ( quality, lean manufacturing ) experience is preferred
