Position Overview

The IT Coordinator Infrastructure’s role is to ensure the daily IT operations and to keep it on a high level of availability in alignment with the business objectives of the organization and the data integrity requirements. This individual will plan and coordinate activities of the organization and support for daily operational activities of the IT department. The IT Coordinator Infrastructure will work closely with decision makers in other departments and Chinas locations as well as with the IT in Germany. He is the contact person for the user in IT matters.

Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning
? Work in collaboration with corporate IT leadership.
? Implement all IT policies and procedures according to the IMS Gear international IT standard
? Strong orientation toward internal customer service.

Acquisition & Deployment
? Make proposals for IT purchasing in close cooperation with the German IT
? Purchasing of hard- and software after the German IT has approved

Operational Management
? Network administration
? Installation of PC, Notebooks and Server
? Cable, cordless, cellular phones and PDA administration
? Installation of printers, copier, scanner
? Support for Microsoft Office
? Responsible for data backup and data integrity
? Installation and administration of VMWare
? Support for video conference system
? Support for time clock system
? etc.

Position Requirements

Formal Education & Certification
? High level IT education and 2-5 years work experience in such a position
? Certifications in relevant technical applications and platforms (is not a must)
? Multi-lingual language skills in Chinese and English.

Knowledge & Experience
? Strong technical knowledge in the above mentioned areas
