RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Create and maintain product technical requirement on all products produced at the facilities;
2. Set up production process (SOP) by spec requirement. Ensure method achieve lowest waste;
3. Provide recommendations and implement improvements regarding product manufacturing method;
4. Monitor and find ways to increase efficiency of the product process and reduce material costs;
5. Solve production trouble during manufacturing and continue improvements;
6. Cross train in other technical service disciplines and provide support and help to resolve any problems that may arise;
7. Work with BOM clerk to ensure BOM accuracy;
8. Strong ability to understand and query information in the ERP environment
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1.College or above in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or a commensurate level of related experience
2.5 years above experience in manufacturing environment.3 - 5 years specifically related experience working in furniture environment.Some technical supervision experience.
3.English skill both in oral and written, especially work related vocabulary;Strong knowledge of MS Office
applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project)
4.Computer skills in CAD (2D/3D) application required
5.Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques
for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
6.Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource alloca tion, production methods, and coordination of resources
7. Be familiar with sigmanet typesetting system is preferred.
