JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. Contribute to embedded UI development:

a) GUI modules for embedded software.

b) MMI modules.

c) Middleware modules for common STB(set-top-box)/DTV industry protocols.

d) Application modules for various STB/DTV solutions.

2. Tasks will include:

a) GUI design and programming

b) Software design and review

c) Software programming and review

d) Software debug

e) Domestic/Overseas customer requirement analysis and support.

f) The third-part middleware integration and debug(such as CA, VOD, Stock and so on)

g) Communicate with related people to make project run well.

h) MMI tools porting and maintain(such as QT, MINIGUI, UCGUI and so on).

QUALIFICATION:
1. Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.

2. Solid C/C++ programming skill.

3. Good English writing and reading skills.

4. Good communication skill, team work spirit, self-motivated.

5. Minimum 3 years of experience in embedded UI software development.

6. Experience/Skill/Knowledge in multiple of the following areas is preferred:

a) STB/DTV UI software development experience.

b) Common STB/DTV industry specs and protocols, in DVB-S, DVB-T, DVB-C, IPTV markets.

c) Embedded GUI development and graphic processing tools such as QT, MINIGUI, UCGUI.

d) Overseas customer support experience.

e) Know well DVB modules such as EPG, CA, VOD.

f) Software version control system such as clearcase, CVS, mercurial

g) Bug tracking system such as Bugzilla and clearquest.

h) Project management system such as redmine, MS project.
