职位描述
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for contact with tooling suppliers to deal with all the tooling related issues.
- Define specification for new tools.
- Act as expert for tooling questions during the NPI milestone reviews (mainly tooling DFM and design review with customer and supplier).
- Full responsibility for control of tooling quality, schedule and cost.
- Validation of the mold layout (design) from the suppliers.
- Be responsible for tooling approval process, which includes tooling FAI and PPAP Inspection and tooling trial result approval.
- Follow EC approved by customer.
- Support production department by improving mass production tool condition.
- Other NPI related work, such as BOM setting, tool trial arrangement and second processing development condition follow up.
Requirements:
- At least Associate degree (Bachelor or above would be preferred) in mechanical or engineering field.
- at least 4 years working experience on plastic tool design, engineering and manufacturing and have good knowledge of molding process and plastic raw material characters.
- Extra working experience as a mechanical designer on consumer electronics products is a plus.
- Good knowledge in project management and working experience in foreign company is a plus
- Familiar with EMS manufacturing working environment.
- Familiar with jig and fixture design.
- Have good communication skill, be team player with self-motivated and positive attitude, have ability to conduct supplier or tooling room to improve tooling issue and could cooperate with molding Engineer to improve or optimize molding parameter setting.
- Have good command of Pro-E & Auto Cad.
- Capable of communicating in English both verbally and written form.
- Ability to work under pressure
