General Description:

The vacancy will be preferred who has experience at shipbuilding industry, Machinery and Electrical systems supervision

Qualified individuals will inspect production processes and final inspections of manufactured steel components, electrical systems, incoming raw material certificates and machined parts to ensure materials comply with applicable codes, blueprints, company’s specifications and quality control expectations. The individual in this position will also be responsible for conducting visual inspections of loading and lashing of the products that are shipped out.

This position reports directly to the Quality Manager.

Job Description:

• Review and interpret customer requirements to the suppliers
• Review and approve supplier quality documentation in close cooperation with the QC Manager
• Work with customers, suppliers, and management as needed to meet company goals
• Be able to communicate effectively to achieve the highest possible performance
• Interact with both suppliers & customers on quality issues & achieving resolutions
• Know and implement company’s quality procedure
• Study drawings, specifications, and perform inspections in order to ensure and reach the client requirements
• Compose daily reports of inspection results

Job Specifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Shipbuilding or Mechanical University/College
• Min 3 years’ experience in quality control
• Ability to write/read reports and correspondence in English
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with both customers & colleagues
• Familiar with interpretation of engineer drawings/specifications and manufacturing process evaluations
• Familiar with process control tools
• Familiar Microsoft Office, minimum knowledge of AutoCAD

We’re mainly responsible for sourcing and purchasing marine components and devices in China market. We also do business with some external customer.
