Main Purpose of Job:

As a market leader in developing high quality products for the food analyzing industry, it is essential for FOSS to ensure that our instruments are always in accordance with the customer’s expectations regarding performance, reliability and within the existing laws.

To strengthen our competence in the Global Quality department we are looking for an engineer to secure that FOSS’ instruments are in compliance with Quality and Legal requirements worldwide.

Most of the daily work will be done in close cooperation with the Product Innovation department (R&D).

You will work in the Global REL Center of Excellence (Reliability, Environmental, Legal), which today consists of 12 people and is placed under the Global Quality.

The job will be based in Suzhou.

Main Responsibilities & Tasks:

1. Coordinate product quality tasks in new development projects

2. To execute and coordinate product quality tests (such as EMC-, El. Safety-, mechanical-, climatic- and vibration tests)

3. Transfer findings from the tests to the design engineers and to help with solutions

4. Write test reports and conclude on the test results.

5. Update local test instructions when test methods or equipment change

6. Make assessments of and recommendations to changes of existing products
7. Other special projects assigned by global REL manager.

Qualifications and skills:

You are an Electronic or Mechanical engineer or a combination eg. Automation with interest and experience within Product Development and/or Quality Assurance.

3~5 years experience work on reliability and/or legal issues in automation or equipments field. Product development experience will be ideal.

You have experience with working in project groups and are good at this.

You communicate fluently in both written and spoken English.

You are extroverted, resolute and persistent when ensuring that quality issues are interpreted correctly and resolutions are implemented correctly into FOSS’ instruments.

You are a good communicator who thrives on having an active role in a cross functional teamwork with many different colleagues. You are result oriented and value honest and direct communication, as well as a positive and humorous outlook on life.
