POSITION SUMMARY
1.Analyze and quantify improvement potentials related to safety, quality, delivery and production cost. Prepare and present findings for decision making and prioritizing of projects
2.Manage and personally drive process improvement initiatives mainly in production
3.Trouble-shooting of production and material problems
4.Make/update work instructions in productions
5.Train operators and support implementation of new processes
6.Lead Kaizen events
7.Reporting of status and results.
8.Make/update PFMEAs, flow charts and control plans re. production
9.Contact with customers re. continuous improvement requirements
10.Contact with key suppliers re. new technology and methodology
11.Knowledge and technology transfer between sister companies in the group
12.Support implementation of investment projects.

QUALIFICATIONS - MINIMUM qualifications required to perform the tasks and responsibilities.
1.Engineering master degree preferable within mechanical engineering
2.Min. 5 years experience from production environment within mechanical industry and 3 years working with continuous improvements in Western companies.
3.Solid experience driving changes and working with change management
4.Ability to teach and to transfer knowledge effectively.
5.Experience with the most common Lean tools such as root cause problem solving, TAKT, pull system, one piece flow, Kaizen, VSM, 5S, OEE, visual management, performance management, TPM, SMED.
6.Extensive, documented experience and strong ability to manage projects
7.Proactive, hands-on, analytical, high drive, can work independent with strong responsibility
8.Able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally with both white and blue collar.
9.English fluent in writing and verbal (min. level 6)
10.Experienced user of MS Office and Outlook.
11.Experience with CAD program.
12.Six Sigma black belt or similar preferable.
13.Experience from heat exchanger industry preferable.
