1. Purpose
The CT Validation is responsible for representing the CT Radiologist and technologist in the product development process. As a strong advocate and voice for the user, the Validation ensures that the product exceeds user expectations in terms of image quality, clinical workflow, and usability.

2. Profile description
- Registered CT Radiologist
OR
- Registered CT / Radiology Technologist (CT) (R)
OR
- 5 years or greater experience in CT validation
AND
- Knowledgeable in the operation of CT products
- Excellent understanding of the clinical use of CT
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of clinical validation regulatory standards
- Demonstrated knowledge of statistical measures used for clinical validation.
- Proven ability to meet performance goals and objectives
- Demonstrated ability to deliver objectives for self and small team on time with quality.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact in English effectively within cross-functional groups within the same or different locations
- The ability to make project decisions independently, consulting with manager on unusual problems and developments
- Willingness to occasionally travel
- Other responsibilities as required
- Preferred knowledge of requirements and test management tools such as DOORS and Quality Center.

2.1. Key areas of responsibility (to be copied in PPM)
The CT Validation is responsible for all Clinical Validation aspects of CT systems. This includes: Preparation of validation plan, preparing the validation test cases, execution of system validation, logging defects found, meeting the required regulatory standards, training the clinical staff in beta sites, follow-up and data collection from the sites, preparation of the validation summary, providing clinical input into product development team, providing regular status updates on work and other responsibilities as required.
