Customer Quality Engineer

OVERVIEW
Responsible for quality engineering in providing support to resolve product quality issues, defective product screening, RMA return from customers and to continuously work for product quality improvements in order to achieve high product quality performance to all customers.


RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Works on systemic evaluation of products, services, facilities, manufacturing or business processes, to ensure that standards of quality are being met.
2. Responsible for all or part of an organization's Quality Management System, including conformance and continuous improvement thereof.
3. Visit customer to understand the quality issue raised, gather information to help our source in investigation and verify customers’ process line and application towards our products.
4. Develops and implements quality plans, programs and procedures using quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses.
5. Coordinate with customers and sales when Quality Alert is received. Ensure all suspected parts are retrieved and disposed according to instruction from source.
6. Provide quality engineering support and quality technical advise by resolving any quality issues to customers.
7. Interfaces with manufacturing, engineering, customers, or suppliers and subcontractors to ensure requirements are met.
8. Reviews, analyzes and reports on quality discrepancies.
9. Investigates problems and executes quality audits, and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies.
10. To coordinate on the sorting activities in regards to quality defect, meeting customers demand, preparing product defect report, repacking and providing quality training to subcontractor.
11. To perform other task/ assignment which is within the scope of work as assigned by immediate superior.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1. Degree Holder preferably in Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering.
2. Knowledge in QC Tools such as SPC, FMEA, Control Plan, 6 sigma.
3. Good written and communication skill in English and ability to communicate in Mandarin
4. Computer application knowledge.
5. Willing to travel.


EXPERIENCE
1. Knowledge in ISO9000, ISO14000 and TS16949 requirements
2. Minimum 3 years experience in QC Function and preferably in Electronics & Electrical field
