To contribute to the achievement by developing and implementing a new product development programme for China Foodservice.


This role will involve driving projects from feasibility to launch and will focus on technologies and platforms that are new to the business (eg: cheese snacking, ready-to-bake pastry, ambient creams). The role will align closely with the innovation programmes being driven by the global channel teams.



Responsibilities:

Manage the delivery of high potential new business development initiatives for the China Foodservice business

· Develop the project brief for localisation and commercialisation of the initiative

· Manage all facets of project feasibility, evaluation and commercialisation, including identification and recommendation of in-market processing options, where that is required

· Delivery of high profile New Product Development initiatives on time and within budget

· Lead development of the sales and marketing plan for the project working closely with local customer owners (eg: global account sales team)

· Ensure the use of the NPD process in executing the above

· Oversee project sales and marketing plan execution, in conjunction with relevant sales arm of the business

· Provide required reporting on project activity to the relevant Channel teams and other stake-holders as required



Qualifications:

· Bachelor degree or above, major in Food Science preferred

· At least 5 years of experience in food or dairy or related industry

· Experience in working within a marketing or research or R&D team to commercialise innovation within an food company

· Experience in Business to Business sales process

· Experience in project management

· Fluent English
