Responsibilities

- New product development strategy: Identify emerging opportunity for new product development. Conduct SWOP analysis and preparation of new product development strategy.

- Work closely with the business development and manufacturing team in establishing business / investment case for new production facility, capability and / or capacity.

Product Development / Improvement:

- Responsible for insightly, accurate and details understanding of customers' quality, functionality and consistency requirement in existing and new products.

- Identify gap between customer expectation and current products offering. Provide concrete feedback and recommendation to the production and QC team to close the identified gap and to improved customer satisfaction.

Conduct joint product trial

- Conduct bench top and / or scale up trail up with company and customer technical team to prove / ensure product performance.

Handling technical enquiry:

- Provide punctual, professional and accurate information to answer customer enquiries.

Handling technical / quality complaint:

- Provide punctual and professional responses to customer regarding quality complaint. Work in conjunction with key account management team, production team and QC team to minimize the operational and financial impacts to both customers and to company to the minimal extent.

Assurance of product compliances:

- Work closely with QC team to ensure 100% product compliance according to national and enterprise internal standard.

Provision of internal training:

Formation of partnership with government bodies:

Proactive establish professional relationship / partnership with government bodies including AQSIQ, MIIT, MOH, etc.

Qualifications

- Bachelor/Master degree, majored in food science or biochemistry related

- At least 3 years R&D / new product development / QA / QC experiences in dairy industry

- Knowledge of dairy food products and applications

- Logical and good at analysis

- English: good
