Position Summary:

Performs routine engineering work requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in supporting/designing products, processes, and/or systems. Assignments have a clear and specified objective. Limited exercise of judgment is required on details of work and in making preliminary selections and adaptations of alternatives. Develops thoughts and ideas into workable changes or technical answers with guidance from supervisor or other engineers. Work with team to increase sales for Global Tech Centers by increasing our quote to order ratio while maximizing revenue per engineering hour.

Key Responsibilities:

· Interact with end users to develop the design solution.

· Write, edit, evaluate, and approve documentation, DCN, BOM, reports and procedures required to support design changes from quote through shipment of product.

· Provide technical support for other engineers and designers by reviewing and approving designs.

· Test and analyze design solutions when applicable.

· Identify and drive opportunities for potential business in key markets.

· Provide solid and competitive quotes to customers that meet or exceed their needs

· Select, specify and qualify Swagelok and non-Swagelok product to design systems that meet customer and industry specifications

· Effectively manage projects from the early definition stage (customers input and specification review) through procurement, manufacture, shipment, and subsequent completion of engineering documentation.

Position Requirements:

Education: A BS degree in engineering plus appropriate continuing education.

In addition to strong communication skills in native language, must be able to speak, read & write in English

Experience: 5-10 years of experience in a developmental professional position.

Skills/Knowledge: Knowledge of Product and Design tools (3D Cad, P/DFMEA, Control, Tolerance

Analysis, Excel and Word). Typically responsible for multiple project tasks of moderate complexity. Applies proven technology and/or designs. Applies reason and logic in problem solving. A sense of urgency and drive to bring problems to permanent solutions within a cross functional environment. Good oral and written communication skills. Good computer and typical office software skills
